  • 1-inch turmeric root
  • 1-inch ginger
  • 3-4 pcs cinnamon sticks
  • 150 ml water
  • 1tsp honey for taste

Preparation time-10-15 mins


  1. Make a paste of ginger and turmeric.
  2. Boil water for 5 mins with ginger and turmeric paste.
  3. Add cinnamon sticks and boil for 2 mins
  4. Strain the mixture & tea is ready.
  5. Add honey to add taste

You can consume it once every day.

It will definitely help in losing weight.

2. Vegetable and Turmeric Soup



  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 chopped Onion
  • 1 chopped Carrot
  • 1 tbsp ground Turmeric
  • 4 cloves-Garlic
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 carton-Vegetable broth
  • 3 to 4 cups- Water
  • Salt – as per taste
  •  ½ tsp-Black pepper
  • 3 cups-Cauliflower florets


  1. Take a saucepan and heat the oil in it.
  2. Add the chopped onions and stir it till they turn golden brown.
  3. Now, add the chopped carrots. Cook them till they become soft.
  4. Add ginger, garlic, turmeric, and cayenne. Stir them till they mix well with the vegetables.
  5. Add water, vegetable broth, salt, and pepper, and stir them. Bring these to a boil and reduce the flame.
  6. Now, add cauliflowers and cook them covered till cauliflowers become tender.
  7. Once, they also become tender, remove them from heat, and serve them.
  8. This turmeric drink is very healthy and loaded with nutrition.


3. Turmeric Golden Milk

Turmeric milk has a lot of health benefits. It not only helps in weight loss but also induces better sleep, fights skin infection and allergies and most importantly boosts the immunity.

How turmeric helps in losing weight


• 1 cup of milk
• ½ tsp turmeric powder
• ¼ tsp ground black pepper
• ¼ tsp ghee


1 Take the milk and pour it into a small saucepan.
2 Boil over medium heat.
3 When milk comes to boil add turmeric and mix.
4 Then add pepper and ghee.
5 Mix and simmer for 1 minute.
6 Turn off heat.
7 Pour milk into another saucepan then pour the milk back into the same saucepan where you cooked it.
Repeat this procedure 3 to 4 times to cool the milk down and make it frothy. If you want to have this milk sweet then you can add a little honey to it.
Pour the milk into a glass and its ready to sip.
